Event Description

The Board of Regents of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Executive Council of the Canadian Associaiton of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons cordially invite you to attend the ACOMS and CAOMS Joint Annual Conference and Exhibition - From Sea to Sky: Climbing to New Heights of Excellence in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, May 3 - 5, 2017.

 

Lecture topics for the conference include alveolar bone grafting, distraction osteogenesis in the cleft population, cleft orthognathic surgery, zygomatic implants, new grafting techniques to the mandible, restoring the atrophic jaw - a prosthodontics perspective, oral cancer screening, obstructive sleep apnea and more.

 

This three-day conference will provide many opportunities to meet and socialize with fellow surgeons, the next generation of OMS, and valued suppliers to our specialty.

The following is included in the cost of training: 2 joints per participant - Cadaveric Specimen; access and use of all equipment, armamentarium, disposable items and PPE required to execute a TMJ arthroscopy cadaver lab; as well as daily round-trip transportation from the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, continental breakfast, lunch and refreshments. Accommodations

The Conference Committee has secured a block of rooms from May 1 to 6, and our group rate is $219 CAD for a Fairmont Room and $249 CAD for a Fairmont Deluxe Room. Rates are per room, per night, single or double occupancy. Rates are subject to 11% Municipal Hotel Tax, 5% Goods & Services Tax (GST) and 1.5% Destination Marketing Fee (DMF). Our group rates will be available until April 8, or until our guest room block is sold out, whichever comes first. After that point, any new reservations will be subject to availability at the daily rate applicable at the time of reservation.

 

The Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, built in 1939, is known as the 'Castle in the City' and reflects the timeless luxury and history of Vancouver. Refund Policy

Refunds of registration fees, less a $150 (CAD) administration fee, will be issued for cancellations received by Tuesday, January 31, 2017No refunds will be issued after this date. If you are unable to attend, you may substitute someone in your place. All cancellations must be received in writing. Refunds will be processed after the meeting.
